Obituary

Terry J. Hagenman, 67, of Centre Twp., died in his residence on Friday, January 27, 2012.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Reis D. and Anna C. (Thren) Hagenman. He was a 1962 graduate of Muhlenberg High School. Terry was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked for Brush Wellman, Shoemakersville, until his retirement. Terry was a member of Wagner-Good Post #216 V.F.W., Hamburg; Laureldale Athletic Association; and American Legion Post # 626, Birdsboro. He enjoyed Christmas decorations. He was also an avid sports fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Phillies, and NASCAR.

Terry is survived by one daughter: Michele R. (Hagenman), wife of David Horner, Birdsboro; two brothers: Scott D. Hagenman, and his wife Cheryl, Mohnton; and Daniel C. Hagenman, and his wife Lisa, Voorhees, NJ; and two sisters: Agnes E. (Hagenman), wife of Salvatore Sanguinito, Apalachin, NY; and Patricia D. (Hagenman), wife of Robert A. Pacharis, Reading. Terry was predeceased by a sister: Jean L. (Hagenman), wife of Charles G. Shaw, Jr..

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 4, at 10:30 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial with military honors will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be held in the funeral home on Saturday 9:00 to 10:30 am.
