Tara A. Hudak, 52, of Perry Twp., passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025 in Penn State health St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Twp.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Robert J. and Mary Ann (Mulzet) Gerhart. She graduated from Parkland High School in 1991. Tara attended St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Tilden Twp. She worked as a CNA at the Laurel Center, Tilden Twp., for approximately 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and seeing new things; she always enjoye swimming, deep sea fishing, watching movies, and puzzles. Tara especially loved spending time with her children.

She is survived by a two daughters: Kaylee A. Hudak, Perry Twp., and Sydney N. Buchfeller, Pittsburgh; a son: Gabriel G. Hix, Perry Twp.; a brother: Robert J. Gerhart, Jr., husband of Donna, Longswamp Twp.; and a sister: Sharon (Gerhart) Bender, wife of Richard, Lower Macungie Twp. Tara is also survived by her longtime companion: Erik J. Hix. Tara and Erik spent 17 wonderful years together.
