T. Stanley Driesbach, 86, of Shoemakersville, died Monday, April 8, 2013 in his residence. He was the husband of Helen A. (Smith) Driesbach. They were married on January 24, 1948 and celebrated 65 years of marriage.
Born in Auburn, he was the son of the late Mahlon R. and Vallie V. (Bressler) Driesbach. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Stanley owned and operated Three D Construction in Shoemakersville for forty-five years. He was a member of St. John's (Gernant's) United Church of Christ, Ontelaunee Twp.; and a former member of Summer Hill United Church of Christ. Stanley enjoyed wood working.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons: Ted S., husband of Madeline (Zerebeic) Driesbach, Hamburg; Barry L., widower of Arlene M. (Weitzel) Driesbach, Hamburg; and Todd A., husband of Kathy (Butterbaugh) Driesbach, Sinking Spring; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Stanley was predeceased by one brother and six sisters.
Services will be on Thursday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial with military honors will be in St. John's (Gernant's) Cemetery, Ontelaunee Twp.
