Susan H. Dailey, 69, of Bern Twp., passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021 in her residence. She was the wife of James H. Dailey. They were married July 25, 1976 for 45 happy years.
Born in Bloomsburg, she was the daughter of Clair C. Hock, husband of Doris, Bloomsburg; and Nancy S. (Shuman) Hock, Danville. She graduated from Bloomsburg High School in 1969; and later received a bachelor's degree in Nursing from Albright College in 1973. Susan worked as a registered nurse for many years; and later worked as the School Nurse at Schuylkill Valley School District until retirement in 2013. She always enjoyed reading, walking, and playing games on her iPad. She also enjoyed gardening, traveling, and cross stitch. Susan loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a son: James M. Dailey, husband of Hannah, Neshanic Station, NJ; a daughter: Elizabeth S. Dailey, wife of Jeffrey Suscewicz, Bethlehem; and two grandchildren: Helen and Claire. She is also survived by two brothers: Ted Hock, husband of Bonita, Florida, and John Hock, husband of Joanne, Lutherville, MD; and a sister: Julie (Hock) Williams, wife of Charlie, Bloomsburg.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, June 18, 2021 at 3:00 pm in Berks County Memorial Gardens. A visitation with the family will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 pm in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533.
