Stanley R. Haag, 78, of Leesport passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Jean A. (Binner) Haag. Born in Dauberville he was the son of the late Harold B. and Grace M. (Graeff) Haag. He was a 1950 graduate of Muhlenberg High School. He was employed by Carpenter Technology for 29 years.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are sons, Michael S. husband of Margaret (Mackenzie) Haag, Robesonia, Timothy L. Haag, Alma, Colorado, granddaughters Stephanie A. (Haag) wife of Joshua Hess, Shillington and Courtney E. Haag, Lakewood, Colorado. He is also survived by two sisters Marilyn F. (Haag) wife of Robert Krick, Tilden Twp., Linda S. (Haag) wife of Robert Althouse, Tilden Twp. and a brother David H. husband of Starr L. Haag, Dauberville. He was predeceased by two sisters Myrtle R. (Haag) wife of Daniel Smith, and Carolyn K. (Haag) wife of Robert Kramer.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will be held at the conveinience of the family. A visitation with the family will be held in the funeral home Saturday 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
