Shirley J. Keller, 78, of Cumru Twp., formerly of Dauberville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 7, 2024 in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. She was the wife of Richard E. Keller, who died June 3, 2021.

Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Carrie (Waxwood) Wenrich. Shirley worked as a machine operator for Cobra Anchors, Temple, until her retirement. She enjoyed reading, shopping, her gadgets, making lists, and baking. Shirley was famous for her apple pie and pumpkin roll. When it became more difficult for her to bake, her son would help her; something they really enjoyed doing together. Shirley's husband Richard was an active member of the Reading Motorcycle Club, and she would help with the childrens' Christmas parties and Easter egg hunts.

Shirley is survived by her son: Dwayne E. "Hip" Keller, husband of Michele; two step-grandchildren: Nick Gehring and Lexi Gehring; and two honorary grandchildren: Kaley (Gehris), wife of Phil Deivermois, and their children: Bryce, Colton, and Alexis; and Jesse Gehris. She is also survived by her siblings: Elwood Wenrich, Sr.; Kerry Wenrich; Ralph Wenrich, Jr.; Ricky Kline; and Donna (Kline) Boltz.

Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Becker's St. Peter's Cemetery, Molltown. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Wednesday 10:00 to 11:00 am.
