Shirley A. Bailey, 85, of Richmond Twp., passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the wife of Richard A. Bailey, who died February 11, 2016.

Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Albirght and Annie (Bubbenmoyer) Fidler. Shirley first worked for Wennton Shoe Factory, Kutztown, then the Fleetwood Cookie Factory, and last at Sheetz, Fleetwood. She attended Becker's St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Molltown. Shirley enjoyed reading; attending church functions; and spending time with her grandchildren and her dog Ginger.

Shirley is survived by her children: Randy A. Bailey, Richmond Twp.; and Stacey A. (Bailey) Young, Tuckerton; and two grandchildren: Kayla and Issac. She is also survived by her siblings: Glen Fidler, Texas; and Barbara (Fidler) Drew, Florida.

Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am from Becker's St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 265 Maidencreek Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522. Burial will follow in Becker's St. Peter's Cemetery. A viewing will be held in the church Thursday 9:30 to 11:00 am. Memorial contributions may be sent to the church at the above address, in memory of Shirley A. Bailey.
