Shelly R. Huey-Rhoads, 39, of Windsor Twp., died Monday, March 25, 2013 in her residence. Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of Dennis W. and Rosemary A. (DeTurck) Huey, Perry Twp. She was a 1992 graduate of Hamburg Area High School. Shelly first worked for RTC Direct Mailing; and most recently was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Michael's Church, Tilden Twp. Shelly enjoyed camping, car shows, family picnics and Shoemakersville Fire Company activities. She especially enjoyed spending time with her kids. Surviving in addition to her parents are two sons: Damian D. Huey-Rhoads and Zachary T. Rhoads, both at home in Windsor Twp.; one sister: Vickie L. (Huey), wife of Timothy Rausch, Perry Twp.; and paternal grandmother: Dorothy E. (Christman) Huey, Windsor Twp. Shelly is also survived by her two nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Services will be on Friday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). A viewing will be held in the funeral home Friday 9:30 to 11:00 am. Burial will be private in Zion's Cemetery, Perry Twp.
