Sharon R. Ross, 61, of Hamburg, died Friday April 19, 2013 in St. Joseph Medical Center.
Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of James Sr. and Mabel (Fox) Gerner.
Sharon worked as a bartender at the Hamburg Game Association where she was also a very active member.
Sharon is survived by her son, Scott N. husband of Kristin Ross, Sinking Spring, six brothers: Richard Gerner, Hamburg, James Gerner, Jr., Hamburg, Thomas Gerner, Centre Twp., Gene Gerner, Hamburg, Joseph Gerner, Tilden Twp., and Gerry Gerner, West Hamburg. She is also survived by a sister Janice VanEtten, Schuylkill County. Sharon is also survived by one granddaughter Alexandra Ross. She was predeceased by her sister Rosalie Bowers.
A viewing will be held Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 PM in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg (off-street parking in rear). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hamburg Game Association: Children's Fishing Rodeo 935 N. 5th Street Hamburg, Pa 19526. Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc.
