Sharon M. Rittenhouse, 49, of Centre Twp., passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Keith P. Rittenhouse. They were married July 15, 2000 and celebrated 21 years of marriage. Born in Drexel Hill, she was the daughter of Richard P. and Sue Anne (Gosser) Keeley, Downingtown. She graduated from Unionville/Chadds Ford High School in 1990, and later received a bachelor's degree in Commercial Recreation and Leisure Services Management from Lock Haven University in 1996. Sharon previously was employed by the City of York, and the Yorktowne Hotel. She was currently the District Administrator for Rotary International District 7430, a role she has held for the past eight years. Sharon always enjoyed watching her daughter's play sports, hiking at Blue Marsh, and traveling to the beach- especially Fenwick Island. She was a member of the West Reading/Wyomissing Rotary Club, and the Fast Break Club- Schuylkill Valley Basketball's Booster Club. Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are three daughters: Cassidy R., Reagan N., and Taryn S. Rittenhouse, all at home. She is also survived by six brothers, and two sisters. Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 11:30 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:30 am in the funeral home.
