Sarel Evelyn Rentschler, 35, of Fleetwood, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024 surrounded by her family in Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest after a brief illness. She was the wife of Kenneth H. Rentschler, Jr. They were married September 3, 2016 and celebrated 8 years of marriage.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Eric D. and Lori A. (Kull) Garman, Fleetwood.Sarel graduated from Fleetwood high school in 2007, got her associates degree from Kaplan University in Medical Assistance, and has been a dance teacher at Limelight Studio, Wyomissing for the past 13 years - where she was the tap and musical theater instructor. Her big heart and beautiful soul touched the lives of everyone with whom she came in contact. Sarel was the light of everything; always sharing a smile and her enthusiasm with everyone. She had a passion for loving other people, her big heart and beautiful soul touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with. She enjoyed dancing, Broadway shows, Disney, and suspense stories. However, her overwhelming desire was to be a wife and mother; her daughter being the sunshine of her life. The only thing she ever wanted in life was to be a mother.

Surviving in addition to her husband and parents is her daughter: Gwendolyn A. Rentschler, 3, at home; her siblings: Hans D. Garman, husband of Erica E. (Knabb), Lenhartsville, Hadley E. Garman, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Samuel A. Garman, fiance of Darby L. Sells, Lancaster. She is also survived by her paternal grandmother: Janice A. (Welker) Garman, Kutztown; and her many friends and family at Limelight. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather: L. David Garman; and her maternal grandparents: Samuel and Evelyn (Dunn) Kull.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 12 noon from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. A visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 12 noon in the funeral home. The family requests attendees wear fun socks and royal blue.
