Sarah J. Kerchner, 69, of Albany Twp., died December 28, 2011 in Liberty Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Allentown. She was the wife of Marvin L. Kerchner. Born in Weisenberg Twp., Lehigh Co., she was the daughter of the late Richard C. and Helen (Leslie) Uhler. She worked for twenty years as a bus driver for Carl R. Bieber, Kutztown, and Berks Vocational Technical School. She last worked for Wal-Mart, Wescosville. Sarah was a former Girl Scout leader and was involved with Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Also surviving are two sons: Marvin L. Kerchner, Jr., Exeter Twp.; and Michael J. Kerchner, Windsor Twp.; one daughter: Michelle L. Achenbach, Longswamp Twp.; and three grandchildren. There are also two sisters: Esther Uberti, Tilden Twp.; and Roma Allen, Clermont, Florida. Services will be on Tuesday at 10:30 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Hamburg.
