Sandra L. (Zieber) Balthaser, 73, of Hamburg, passed away unexpectedly in her residence on Friday, June 5, 2026.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late LaRue (DeLong) Clemens, and Dennis G. Clemens, Hamburg. Sandy graduated from Hamburg Area High School in 1970. She worked for many years as a clerk at Miller's 5&10 in Hamburg; then was a manager at Wendy's, Tilden Twp.; and spent her last working years in housekeeping at Laurel Center, Tilden Twp. She was a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ, Hamburg. She loved to play bingo, listen to Alabama, and Elvis Presley, and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies. She also enjoyed going to casinos.

Surviving in addition to her father is a son: Christopher W. Balthaser, husband of Rebekah S. Gruber, Hellertown; a daughter: Raquel L. Balthaser, Bethel; three grandchildren: Alyssa, Chase, and Luis; and her great-granddaughter: Brinlee. She is also survived by her siblings: Bruce Zieber, and Dara (Clemens) Klobosits. She was predeceased by a granddaughter: Carissa Balthaser.

A Memorial Visitaiton will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 am in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg, PA 19526 (off street parking in rear).
