Ruth M. Turner, 71, of Windsor Twp., passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center.

Born in Hamburg, she was the daughter of the late Jacob J. and Grace I. (Roth) Turner. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hamburg. Ruth worked as a nurse's aide at Hamburg Center for 27 years before retiring in 2001. She loved animals and outside flowers. She was a member of Shoemakersville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by three brothers: Paul C. Turner, Windsor Twp., Daniel J. Turner, Saylorsburg, and Robert E. Turner, New Smithville; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was predeceased by a brother: Joseph J. Turner; and two sisters: Grace I. (Turner) Moyer, and Sarah A. Turner.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 10:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport. Viewings will be held Friday, April 1, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 am in the funeral home.
