Ruth A. Gassmann, 78, of Perry Twp., died Sunday, June 2, 2013 in her residence. She was the wife of Earl A. Gassmann, died July 4, 1993. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Marie M. (Otten) Meschonat. Ruth is survived by a son: Earl S. Gassmann, and his wife Louise, Windsor Twp.; daughter: Stefanie Ruth (Gassmann) Friebolin, Perry Twp.; and seven grandchildren: Steven E. Gassmann, and his wife Renee; Kristen C. Friebolin; Brendan K. Friebolin; Helen L. Gassmann; Emily E. Friebolin; Ryan M. Friebolin; and Matthew R. Friebolin. Services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery, Centre Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Tuesday 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
