Ruth I. Clohessy, 88, formerly of Hamburg, died December 13, 2013 in Kutztown Manor. She was the wife of Edwin J. Clohessy, who died August 26, 1995. Born in Manheim, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Claire Rosenmann. She worked for Air Products, Trexlertown. Ruth devoted her life to the care of her son Edwin. Ruth is survived by one son: Edwin J. Clohessy, Jr., a resident at the Hamburg Center; three daughters: Irene Chancer, Sebastian, Florida; Nancy Marotto, State Island, New York; and Pamela Lambert, Reading; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamburg.
