Rusty L. Magee, 63, of Centre Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. He was the significant other of Crystal L. (Hutsko) Smith.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Edward Magee and Joan (Drumheller) Magee. Rusty was a mason by trade and worked in heavy equipment and highway paving.

He was a member of various social clubs in Berks County. Rusty enjoyed hunting, games of chance, his pizza oven, and pool parties. He was an extreme animal lover and always had treats in his pockets. Rusty was a friend to everyone and could make new friends wherever he went. He had a generous spirit and could make everyone laugh. Rusty was a great pop-pop and loved his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to Crystal is his daughter: Kailey S. Magee, fiance of Allyssa Brettman, Wernersville; and his son: Tyler L. Magee, and his significant other: Kiana Maria Szymkiewicz, Stowe; his bonus children: Adrienne Smith and Riley Smith; and three grandchildren: Jaxson Tyler Magee, Destiny Ivory Magee and Riley Nicole Magee. Rusty was predeceased by his two brothers: Eddie Magee and Randy Magee.

A Celebration of Rusty's Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
