Russell J. Raifsnider, 74, of Fleetwood, died September 24, 2013 in Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Carl H. and Florence (Hartman) Raifsnider. Russell was a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran. He worked as a security guard. Russell enjoyed hunting and riding his motorcycle. He was a member of the NRA; and the National Wildlife Turkey Federation. Russell is survived by one daughter: Tammy L. (Raifsnider), wife of William R. Kerper, Jr., Perry Twp.; two grandchildren: Damian and Kiley Roland; one brother: Richard L. Raifsnider, Hamburg; and one sister: Delores E. (Raifsnider) Angelis, Reading. He was predeceased by a brother: Robert C. Raifsnider; and one sister: Margaret M. (Raifsnider) Sipe. A Memorial Visitation with the family will be held on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport, PA 19533.
