Ronald L. "Jake" Yenser, 56, husband of Kim Yenser, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 16, 2022.
Born in Reading, PA, he was a son of Clarence and Lucille Nattress Yenser.
A sports enthusiast, Jake not only played but coached both baseball and hockey. Jake loved all Clint Eastwood movies - especially the old westerns and the Dirty Harry series. However, he didn't like the Bridges of Madison County and Play Misty for Me as he always said those were not real "Clint" movies.
In addition to his parents and his wife of 31 years, left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Austin and Logan Yenser; a sister, Marlo DiCello; and a brother, Russell Yenser.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 7:30 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. A visitation with the family will be held on Monday from 6:00-7:30 pm.
The family requests that those attending please wear a mask.
