Ronald F. Martin, 87, Hamburg, passed away August 9, 2022 in his home surrounded by loved ones. He was the husband of Carol "Penne" (Pennepacker) Martin, married 51 years. Born in Reading, son of the late Florence (Fink) & Hilbert Schreffler and Russell Martin.

He was a '53 graduate of Hamburg Area High School, served in the U.S. Navy Reserve, and served in Korea with the Air Force. He loved flying R/C airplanes, hunting, and fishing at the Black Lake, New York.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Monica (Martin) Capitella and Mindy (Martin), wife of Keith Rabert. Grandchildren, Jeret Reber, Daniel Capitella, and Andrea Capitella and great-grandson, Bryson Capitella. Also, one brother, Thomas Schreffler and family of Massachusetts.
