Ronald D. Lawson, 87, of Maidencreek Twp., passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He was the husband of Barbara J. (Keller) Lawson. They were married on March 20, 1965 and celebrated sixty years of marriage.

Born in Black Lick, Indiana Co., he was the son of the late Elmer and Orpha Lawson. Ronald was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He worked for thirty-four years for Dana Corporation; and Rich Maiden Golf Course for thirty years. Ronald was a member of Maidencreek Church, Blandon. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, going to the casino and going to the hunting camp.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children: Susan A. (Lawson) Tibbetts, wife of Paul Tibbetts, Reading; and Heath R. Lawson, husband of Julie Lawson, Kutztown; five grandchildren: Shawn, Alysa, Kyle, Brooke and Tylor; and seven great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Averi, Londyn, Brayden, Greyson, Brynnlee and Nova. Ronald is also survived by three brothers: Clarence "Woody" Lawson, Lester Lawson and Clair Lawson; and one sister: Janice Vogel. He was predeceased by two sisters: Loretta Lewis and Mary McCurdy.

Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
