Ronald L. Gilbert, 70, of Perry Twp., passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025 in Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center, Lancaster. He was the husband of the late Cheryl L. (Spence) Gilbert, passed away October 18, 2010.

Born in Pottsville, he was the son of Minerva (Yoder) Gilbert, Schuylkill Haven; and the late Carlson "Mike" Gilbert. He graduated from Blue Mountain High School in 1973; and later attended Lincoln Tech for a few years. Ronald worked as a steel worker for DANA Corporation until he retired. Following Dana, he was employed at Sheetz; Mack Truck for about 5 years; and last worked at Cabela's as a greeter. He enjoyed hunting, riding his Harley Davidson, hiking, and spending time with his family. He always loved mowing his grass, was an avid fan of Philadelphia sports, especially the Phillies; and loved the Miami Dolphins.

He is survived by a son: Todd D. Gilbert, husband of Kayleigh, Viera, FL; a daughter: Jani L. (Gilbert) Milan, wife of Matthew,  Yulee, FL; three grandchildren: Connor DuCoin, Chayson Gilbert, and McKinley Gilbert. He is also survived by two brothers: Carlson G. "Butch" Gilbert, Jr., and Richard C. Gilbert, both of Schuylkill Haven; and three sisters: Carol (Gilbert) Merbah, Orwigsburg, Sandra (Gilbert) LaScala, and Donna (Gilbert) Dabashinski, both of Schuylkill Haven.
