Ronald A. Coleman, 78, of Ontelaunee Township, passed away at his residence. He was the husband of Betty A. (Jacobs) Coleman. They were married on January 31, 2001, and celebrated 25 years of marriage.

Born in Reading on June 4, 1948, Ronald was the son of the late Albert A. Coleman and Virginia (McDonough) Coleman. He was a graduate of Reading High School. Ronald was employed by Luden's/Hershey, where he worked as a supervisor for 45 years until his retirement. He was also a member of Teamsters Union, Wyomissing. Ronald enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed driving and mowing the lawn.

In addition to his wife, Betty, Ronald is survived by his son, Quinton M. Coleman, at home; and his daughters, Christie L. Coleman, Texas; Susan (Coleman), wife of David Harrington, Pottstown; and Lindsay B. (Coleman) Fry, wife of Chris, Leesport. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his step-daughters: Jennifer A. Shunk, and Kristy L. Shunk, both of Harrisburg.
