Roger A. Pawling, 82, of Maidencreek Twp., passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024 in his residence. He was the husband of Patricia L. (Campbell) Pawling.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Clarence and Mary (Stoudt) Pawling. Roger was a graduate of Reading High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, serving two tours. Roger worked for UGI. He was a member and bartender at the Leesport Fire Company; member of Shoemakersville Fire Company; Wagner Good Post #216, Hamburg; Northmont Rod and Gun Club; Kenhorst Fire Company.; and the Ivey's. He enjoyed shooting with his friends at the gun range.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children: Marchell Moore, wife of Brian; Nancy Pawling; Kelly Raifsnyder, wife of Greg; and Eugene Baker; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Roger also had a brother: Clarence, Jr.; and a sister: Betty.
