Robert N. Scholl, 86, of Shoemakersville, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026 in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Mary Beth H. (Bohn) Scholl. They were married June 24, 1990 and celebrated 36 years of marriage.

Born in Bechtelsville, he was the son of the late Neil W. and Caroline C. (Cunningham) Scholl. Robert was a member of Salem Berne United Methodist Church, Tilden Twp. He served the United States in the US Navy. Robert worked as a truck driver for New Penn Motor Express for 40 years before retiring. He enjoyed boating, camping, and playing golf. He trained towards being a pilot, and almost received his license. Years ago, Robert owned and operated the Witmar Inn, Reading.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons: Rev. Jeffrey A. Scholl, husband of Stephanie A. (Miller), Pottstown, and Steven P. Scholl, husband of Kristen A. (Reichert), Mohnton; grandchildren: Maddie E. Scholl, and Jonathan Robert Scholl; and a "daughter" Holly K. (Kissling) Giannotti, and her children: Mason and Alisandra Giannotti.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 5:00 pm in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Hill Church Union Cemetery, Boyertown. A viewing will be held from 4:00 to 5:00 pm in the funeral home.
