Robert F. "Bobby" Rubright, Jr., passed away Monday, February 12, 2024 in Carolyn's House, a hospice facility, in Harrisburg. He was the husband of Sally A. (Troutman) Rubright. They were married February 15, 1964 and would have celebrated 60 years of marriage this week.

Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Robert F. Rubright, Sr., and Sara J. (Seigfried) Barron. He was a member of Trinity UCC, Rehrersburg. Bobby owned and operated Rubright Auto Sales and Service, Perry Twp., for 35 years, retiring in 2008. Prior to the car lot, he owned dump trucks which he leased to Windsor Service for many years. Bobby was a classic car enthusiast. He was a member of AACA, NCRS, and SAAC- Shelby American Automobile Club, and always enjoyed attending car shows. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and was a former Notary Public.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons: Timothy T. Rubright, husband of Sandi, Greenwich Twp., and Troy T. Rubright, Perry Twp.; a sister: Dorothy Laudeman, Conway, SC; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters: Jackie Andrews, Debra Paisley, and Kathleen Collins.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
