Robert A. Pennypacker, 72, of Windsor Township passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2013 in his residence. He was the husband of Marjorie A. (Merkel) Pennypacker. They were married October 4, 1986 and celebrated 26 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William and Mary Elizabeth (Vitelli) Pennypacker. Robert worked for 15 years as a Maintenance Mechanic at East Penn Manufacturing, Lyons, last working May 31. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and playing cards on the computer. He especially enjoyed acting like a kid with his grandkids. Surviving in addition to his wife is a son: Dana Gechter, fiancé of Monica Morgan, Hamburg; three daughters: Michele Pennypacker, Washington, D.C., Marcey wife of Donald Franczak, Boyertown, and Alicia Wagner, Lenhartsville; and five grandchildren: Austin, Jason, Matthew, Amanda, and Autumn. Robert is also survived by a very dear friend: Freddie "Pie" Levia, Maidencreek Township. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc.
