Noecker
August 7, 1957 – April 9, 2024
Robert E. Noecker, Jr., 66, of Tilden Twp., passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2024 in his residence. He was the husband of Debra A. (Miller) Noecker. They were married September 27, 1980 and celebrated 43 years of marriage.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Robert E. Noecker, Sr., and Emma Mae (Dixon) Noecker. He graduated from Hamburg Area High School in 1975. Bob worked as a diesel mechanic for Penske Truck Leasing for many years, retiring in 2010. For his entire life, he worked on the family farm in Windsor Twp., continuing especially during retirement. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and farming. He could always be found spending time with his grandchildren; and loved his english bulldogs. Bob was a skilled mechanic, and always fixed cars for his children. He was a member of Hamburg Moose Lodge No. 523; and Saucony Creek Ducks Unlimited.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons: Dane A. Noecker, husband of Tamara A. (Ferrebee), Marana, AZ, Matthew T. Noecker, companion of Kim, Tilden Twp., and Robert E. Noecker, III, companion of Theresa, Windsor Twp.; seven grandchildren: Rachael, Travis, Sophia, Caeli, John, Carson, and Gatlin; and his canine companions: Nala and Jenny. Bob is also survived by two sisters: Bonnie (Noecker) Yoder, North Carolina, and Betty (Noecker) Smith, Hershey. He was predeceased by a son: Dereck S. Noecker, died November 9, 1994; and a sister: Barbara (Noecker) Weaver.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 15, 2024 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in Strausstown Cemetery. Viewings will be held Sunday, April 14, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, Hamburg Moose Lodge will hold a service at 7:30 pm; and Monday, April 15, from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
