Robert L. Machemer, 85, of Richmond Twp., passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 in his residence. He was the husband of Gloria A. (Miller) Machemer, to whom he was married for sixty-two years.

Born in Leesport, he was the son of the late Alfred and Ruth (Spraut) Machemer. Bobby was a 1955 graduate of Ontelaunee High School. After serving in the Army, he became an over the road truck driver logging several million miles. He received several awards (trophies) for his driving expertise. Bobby enjoyed cutting grass, snow plowing and anything that involved a tractor. He would say, "if it can't be done with a tractor, it doesn't have to be done."

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children: Timothy (Gail) Machemer; Terry (Cheryl) Machemer; and Tricia (Brett) Boyer; five grandchildren: Andrea, Bryan, Lindsey, Ryan and Carly; and three great-grandchildren: Raegan, Connor and Haisley. Bobby was predeceased by his brothers: Donald and Dennis; and sister: Pat.
