Robert N. Kalbach, 89, formerly of 1200 Main Street, Shoemakersville, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022 in Schuylkill Center, Pottsville. He was the husband of Dolores A. (Noecker) Kalbach, who died on June 22, 2009.
Born in Bern Twp., he was the son of the late Raymond Kalbach and Nora R. Hartman. Robert was a graduate of Ontelaunee High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Robert worked for over thirty years for Dana Corporation, retiring December 1988. He then worked for Bob Fisher Chevrolet as a night watchman. He attended The Bridge Church, Hamburg.
Robert is survived by his children: Kenneth N. Kalbach, husband of Wendy, Hamburg; Lori A. (Kalbach), wife of Michael Foley, Pottsville; Kevin R. Kalbach, husband of Michelle, Pottsville; and Clint R. Kalbach, Virginia; eight grandchildren: Matthew (Tara), Rachael (Ryan), Shelby, Jason (Patty), Naomi, Wynonna, Mia, and Justin; and nine great-grandchildren: Kolton, Danielle, Cason, Grayson, Brinley, Isabelle, Luna, Raeya, and Winrey. He was predeceased by a son: David A. Kalbach, husband of Jody, who died September 13, 2012.
Services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
