Robert R. "Bobby" Hix, 76, of Upper Bern Twp., passed away Monday, August 24, 2026 at his residence. He was the husband of Letecia V. (Cabida) Hix. They were married July 18, 2001, and celebrated 25 years of marriage.

Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Rae M. and Glenna E. (Spatz) Hix. Bobby worked as a machine operator at Coca-Cola, Chicago until he retired at age 62. In retirement, he worked for himself as a painter and as a general Mr. Fix-it, until current. He attended the Bridge Church, Hamburg. Bobby loved to paint, hunt, and work. He always enjoyed throwing parties, and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons: Nathaniel R. Hix, and Nicholas C. Hix, both of Upper Bern Twp. He is also survived by his siblings: John M., husband of Donna (Cantore) Hix; Penn Twp.; Gerald W. Hix, Upper Bern Twp.; Eugene L., husband of Debra (Stetzler) Hix, Upper Bern Twp.; Barry C. Hix, and Terry L., husband of Kim (Boyer) Hix, Bethel, Glenna F. (Hix), widow of Nevin A. Smith, Upper Bern Twp. He was predecased by a sister: Lorraine M. (Hix) Reinert

Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 10:30 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533.
