Robert M. Henn, 77, of Tilden Twp., died Tuesday, November 12, 2013 in his residence. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Shenk) Henn. They were married on May 13, 1960 and celebrated 53 years of marriage. Born in Tilden Twp., he was the son of the late Morris and Pauline (Machemer) Henn. He was a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard, Hamburg. Robert worked for the Pennsylvania Game Commission for twenty-seven years. He then owned and operated Henn Sanitation for thirteen years until 1995. Robert was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hamburg. He was a member of the Hamburg Fish and Game Association, Union Fire Company #1 Hamburg and beneficial association and Shartlesville Fire Company and beneficial association. Robert was also a life member of Loyal Order of Moose #523, Hamburg. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons: Dean R., husband of Tracy (Stewart) Henn, Tilden Twp.; and Deric L. Henn, Tilden Twp.; three daughters: Jacqueline E., wife of Harold Neider, Hamburg; Doreen S., wife of Rick Bagenstose, Tilden Twp.; and Dana L., wife of Robert Hunsicker, Tilden Twp.; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren. Robert is also survived by three brothers: Larry Henn, Hamburg; Donald Henn, Mertztown; and Keith Henn, Tilden Twp.; and three sisters: Janet Bohn, West Hamburg; Joan Lazar, Hazelton; and Brenda Sweigart, Strausstown. Memorial services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). A visitation with the family will be held on Friday 9:30 to 11:00 am.
