Robert L. Brown, 62, of Hamburg, died February 7, 2014 in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Rose M. (Weyandt) Brown, who died December 3, 2001. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Howard and Ethel (Beissel) Brown. Robert worked at the Hamburg Center in the food services department. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Hamburg. Robert enjoyed taking walks, Elvis, and doing crafts. Robert is survived by one daughter: Jennifer B. (Brown), wife of Eric Wegman, Hamburg; and two sisters: Darlene Brown and Kathy Stichter, both of Leesport. He was predeceased by a brother: Howard Brown, Jr., and a sister: Evelyn Perfetto. Services will be held on Friday at 10:30 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held on Friday 9:30 to 10:30 am.
