IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Riley Jacob
Rejniak
May 23, 2012 – December 26, 2025
Riley Jacob Rejniak, 13, of Leesport, died on Friday, December 26, 2025 after an 8 year, 8 month, 1 day, and 18 hour battle with cancer. He was a courageous fighter who often said, "I'm not worried about it."
Born in Reading, he was the son of Gregory and Ashley N. (Leonhard) Rejniak, Leesport. He was a 7th grade student at Schuylkill Valley School District, and a member of LCBC Leesport. Riley was a bright spirit, full of life and curiosity. An inquisitive mind, he had a passion for learning, particularly about dinosaurs and praying mantises. His adventurous spirit led him to enjoy fishing, hunting, swimming, and the immersive worlds found in video games. He was a fearless soul who relished in the thrill of scary movies, always a source of laughter and bravery among his friends. Known for his unwavering faith, Riley found strength and solace in his beliefs, providing inspiration to many around him. He was also an avid fan of his favorite superhero, Spiderman.
Riley had a heart full of love for his family. He shared a special bond with his brothers, Greyson and Elijah, and held dear connections with his cousins and friends. Music was another of Riley's great joys, with Imagine Dragons being a band that resonated deeply within his heart.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his brothers: Greyson C. and Elijah J. Rejniak, Leesport; paternal grandmother: Stephanie A. (Coulter) Rejniak, Tilden Twp.; maternal grandparents: Todd L. and Theresa M. (Svenson) Leonhard, Bernville; aunts and uncles: Stephen and Stephanie, Jesse, and Matthew and Catherine; and cousins: Conner, Nora, Coen, Lucy, Lily, and Mason. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather: Stephen J. Rejniak.
