Richard L. Sell, 79, of Womelsdorf, passed away on February 28, 2016 in ManorCare, Lebanon. He was the husband of Marilyn J. (Strausser) Sell, who died October 21, 2006. Born in Host, he was the son of the late Charles G. and Elsie M. (Stoner) Sell. Richard worked for MGP, Womelsdorf. He was a member of Rehrersburg Fire Company. Richard is survived by one son: Ronald L. Sell, and his wife Mary B. "Cookie" Sell, Laureldale; one daughter: Julie M. Sell, Womelsdorf; two brothers: Paul Sell, Womelsdorf and Carl Sell, Myerstown; and one sister: Kathryn Salem, Womelsdorf. He will be missed by his faithful companions: Candy Cane and Selena. Richard was predeceased by a daughter: Jenise M. Sell, died July 23, 1962; and one brother: John Sell. Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery, Centre Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Thursday 10:00 to 11:00 am.
