Richard A. Lutz, "Squirrel", 85, of Hamburg, passed away in his residence on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. He was the companion of Carline M. Blatt.
Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Earl D. and Edith M. (Henn) Lutz. Richard was a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard for nine years. He worked for Wright's Knitting Mill, Hamburg, until his retirement. Squirrel was a member of Loyal Order of Moose #523, Hamburg; and Union Fire Company #1, Hamburg.
Surviving in addition to his companion is a sister: Darlene L. (Lutz), widow of Donald Dietrich, Edenburg. Richard was predeceased by a brother: Sterling H. Lutz.
