Richard M. Leibensperger, 79, of Perry Twp., died Tuesday, April 30, 2024 in his residence. He was the husband of Audrey M. (Schlenker) Leibensperger. They were married March 17, 1962.

Born in Breinigsville, he was the son of the late Morris G. and Ada M. (Schwenk) Leibensperger. Richard was a member of Faith Bible Baptist Church, Hamburg. He worked as a truck driver; and later owned and operated Hamburg Auto- a body shop specializing in truck painting for over 40 years until he retired. He always enjoyed corvettes, and was a Chevy guy.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters: Sherry L. Leibensperger, companion of Jill L. Stufflet, Windsor Twp., Tammy L. (Leibensperger) Stewart, wife of Joel T. Stewart, Tilden Twp., and Debbie (Breininger) Brown, wife of Douglas Brown, Hamburg; and four grandchildren: Christopher A. Stewart, Matthew S. Stewart, Douglas Brown, Jr., and Christopher Brown. He is also survived by a sister: Loretta M. (Leibensperger) widow of John L. Readinger, Perry Twp., and a brother: Carl H. Leibensperger, widower of June Leibensperger, Shoemakersville. He was predeceased by a sister: Linda M. (Leibensperger) King.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 12:00 pm from Faith Bible Baptist Church, 138 Maple Drive, Hamburg, PA 19526. Burial will follow in St. Luke's Cemetery, Shoemakersville.
