RIchard A. Leahy, Jr., "Pop," 92, of Spring Twp., and formerly of Bernville, passed away Monday, May 19, 2025 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Arletta M. (Younker) Leahy.

Born in West Lebanon, he was the son of the late Christine (Eleberly) Sheidy and the late Richard A. Leahy. He was a US Army Veteran. Pop worked as a welder for DANA Corporation for 39 years until retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Pop was a member of Grandview Hunting Camp, Tioga and Lycoming County; and a few local social clubs.

He is survived by three daughters: Linda L. (Leahy) Tolomei, widow of Barry A., Spring Twp., Jacquelyn I. (Leahy) Vize, wife of George D., Bern Twp., and Sue M. (Leahy) Minnich, widow of Stansil L., Bern Twp.; a son: Mark R. Leahy, Colorado; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025 from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in St. John's (Gernant's) Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
