Richard A. Kunsman, "Dick", 89, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 15, 2024 in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Helen M. (Schlegel) Kunsman, who died September 27, 2013. They were married for fifty-nine years at the time of her death.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late G. Stanley Kunsman and Mattie (James) Kunsman Bender. Dick was a 1953 graduate of Hamburg High School. He was a Prudential insurance agent from 1964 until retiring in 1992. Dick was a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Tuckerton, where he was a former trustee and member of the consistory. He was a member of Vaux Lodge #406 F. & A.M., Hamburg; Rajah Shrine and Legion of Honor. Dick was also a member of the Jim Beam Bottle Club. He enjoyed walking at Planet Fitness, camping and traveling; and was a fan of the Eagles. Dick especially enjoyed spending time with his daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter.

Dick is survived by his daughter: Michele L. (Kunsman), wife of Michael L. Cramer, Spring Twp.; and granddaughter: Meghan Cramer.

Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am from Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, 170 Tuckerton Road, Reading, PA 19605. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg. A viewing will be held at Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport on Sunday 6:00 to 8:00 pm and at the church Monday 10:00 to 11:00 am.
