Obituary

Richard D. "Rich" DeVough, 58, of Perry Twp., passed away Monday, October 30, 2023 in Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg. He was the husband of Dorothy A. (Drabinsky) DeVough. They were married October 17, 1987 and celebrated 36 years of marriage.

Born in Pottstown, he was the son of Marie B. (Derr) DeVough, and the late Dallas R. DeVough. He worked 30+ years in local foundries, working as plant superintendent at Fairmount Foundry for the last number of years before becoming disabled. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the Dallas Cowboys. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren, and was a car enthusiast.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are three sons: Richard J. DeVough, Virginville, Christopher F. DeVough, Hamburg, and Justin D. DeVough; three grandsons: Ryan J. DeVough, Waylon D. DeVough, and Otto F. DeVough. He is also survived by two sisters: Faye (DeVough) Makros, Earl Twp., and Paula S. (DeVough) Kehler, Maidencreek Twp.; and a brother: Dale R. DeVough, Laureldale.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:30 am in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg, PA 19526 (off-street parking in rear). There will not be a formal service. For online condolences, please visit www.leibenspergerfuneralhomes.com
