Rene E. Oberholtzer, 92, formerly of Mohrsville, died February 13, 2012 at the Highlands at Wyomissing. Her husband, John P. Oberholtzer, died March 26, 1989.

Born in Mohrsville, she was the daughter of the late Samuel N. and Carrie E. (Yeager) Snyder. Rene was a 1937 graduate of Ontelaunee High School and completed one year of business school. She was a member of Salem (Belleman's) Church, Centre Twp.

Rene is survived by one son: Craig S. Oberholtzer, and his wife Robin, Shillington; two daughters: Lynda E., wife of Gary K. Fisher, Cherry Hill, NJ; and Dianne L., wife of Daniel J. Devine, Upper Bern Twp.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her friend: Paul C. Dunkelberger, with whom she resided. Rene was predeceased by one brother: Kermit S. Snyder.

Services will be on Saturday at 11:00 am from Salem (Belleman's) Church, 3540 Belleman's Church Road, Mohrsville, PA 19541. Burial will be in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery, Centre Twp. A visitation with the family will be held on Saturday in the church 10:00 to 11:00 am.
