Raymond B. Roberts, 68, of Rockland Twp., passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Carol J. (Ketner) Roberts. They were married on December 23, 1982 and celebrated thirty-eight years of marriage. Born in Trenton, NJ, he was the son of Julia E. (Vagott) Roberts, Muhlenberg Twp.; and the late Thomas H. Roberts. Raymond was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He worked as a plant engineer for Engineering Material Solutions, Hamburg. Raymond enjoyed archery and hunting. He was very mechanical and enjoyed working with engines. Raymond was an avid golfer, winning several tournaments. He enjoyed NASCAR and all kinds of sports and was a fan of the New Orleans Saints. Raymond especially loved his canine companion, Cleo. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother is one daughter: Theresa Cox, in Ohio; and three grandchildren. Raymond is also survived by four brothers: Thomas, Michael, John and Patrick Roberts; and one sister: Karen Miller. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
