Raymond A. Loeb, "Totoa", 90, formerly of Tilden Twp., died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 in Southeastern Veterans Center, Spring City. He was the husband of Joyce M. (Reber) Loeb, died February 10, 1999.
Born in Hamburg, he was the son of the late Allen H. and Elsie (Rubright) Loeb; and step-son of the late Lillian M. (Wolfe) Loeb. Raymond was a 1940 graduate of Perry High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Raymond worked for forty-seven years for Fairmount Foundry, Hamburg, retiring in 1987. He was a member of St. Michael's Church, Tilden Twp. Raymond was an avid Phillies fan. He enjoyed square dancing and hoe downing with his wife Joyce.
Raymond is survived by four sons: Keith R. Loeb, and his wife Kathleen, Tilden Twp.; Glenn A. Loeb, and his wife Kathy, Muhlenberg Twp.; Rodney L. Loeb, and his wife Janice, Upper Bern Twp.; and Nelson J. Loeb, Alsace Twp.; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one brother: Wayne H. Loeb, Shoemakersville. He was predeceased by two brothers: Donald C. Loeb and Paul E. Loeb; and one sister: Anna M. (Loeb) Wessner.
Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp.
