Rae C. Wein, 87, formerly of Wyomissing, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020 in Laurel Center, Tilden Twp. She was the wife of Joseph S. Wein, who died May 12, 2015. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Irene (Burrell) Yeakley. Rae enjoyed attending church. She was very artistic and enjoyed drawing. Rae was an impeccable housekeeper. She was always willing to help someone else. Rae is survived by one son: Jason S. Wein, widower of Bonnie Wein, Mohrsville; and one daughter: Joanne D. Wein, Ohio; two granddaughters: Jacqueline Irene and Stephanie Marie; and one great-granddaughter: Sophia Marie. She is also survived by two sisters: June Drogo, wife of Vince; and Helen Kelichner, wife of Terry; and one brother: Bobby Yeakley. Rae was predeceased by a brother: Ray Yeakley, Jr.; and three sisters: Madeline Kauffman, Joan Donato and Dorothy Freeman. Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Monday 10:00 to 11:00 am.
