Percy N. Miller, 90, formerly of Centre Twp., passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2014 in the Reading Hospital. He was taken there from the Berks Heim where he resided for four years. He was the husband of Miriam (Becker) Miller, who died September 21, 1972. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Calvin Miller and Elizabeth Momberger. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Percy worked for twenty years for O.B. Dyers, Reading, retiring in 1986. He was a former sergeant of arms for Behler-Hein Post #637 American Legion, Hamburg. Percy was the last of his immediate family. He was predeceased by his friend and companion: Katie I. (Hoy) Wagner. Percy is survived by his nieces and nephews; friends Ken and Nancy James; and Katie's family. Services will be held on Thursday at 3:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport, Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp.
