Pearl A. Styer, 92, of Centre Twp., died Thursday, September 20, 2012 in the Reading Hospital. Her husband, Raymond L. Styer, died March 24, 2005.

Born in Lobachsville, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Esther S. (Bieber) Dotterrer. She was a 1938 graduate of Reading High School. Pearl worked as a clerk for Kresge's 5 & 10 store, Reading. She last worked at Friendly's in Wyomissing, as a hostess from 1982-1994. Pearl enjoyed gardening.

Pearl is survived by one son: Jack D. Styer, husband of Sandra, Hesperia, California; and two daughters: Bernice L. (Styer), wife of Richard H. Hartman, Centre Twp.; and Teri E. (Styer), wife of Terry L. Frederick, Centre Twp., and with whom she resided; four grandchildren: Craig Hartman; Traci Quillman; Elaine McGinty, and Jennifer Morris; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers: Lloyd Dotterrer, and his wife Betty, Cumru Twp.; and Robert Dotterrer, and his wife Faye, Shillington. Pearl was predeceased by a brother: Cyril Dotterrer; and a sister: Leah (Dotterrer) Redpath.

Services will be on Tuesday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will be in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery, Centre Twp.
