Pauline S. Luckenbill, 92, of Centre Twp., passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in Penn State Health St. Joseph. She was the wife of Arthur D. Luckenbill, who died February 23, 1999. Born in Upper Bern Twp., she was the daughter of the late John and Clara (Feick) Hix. Pauline and her husband operated the family dairy farm in Upper Bern Twp. She was a member of St. Michael's Church, Tilden Twp. Pauline enjoyed singing at the Centerport Jam Sessions, watching the Phillies, and talking about her cow Daisy and the days on the farm. Pauline is survived by one daughter: Gloria A. Luckenbill, Centre Twp.; one son: Lynn A. Luckenbill, and his wife Betty, Ontelaunee Twp.; two grandsons: Daniel A. Luckenbill, Dauberville; and Donald A. Luckenbill, and his wife Amy, in Kansas; and two great-grandsons: Dallas and Andrew Luckenbill. She was predeceased by seven brothers: Leroy O. Hix, George R. Hix, John Ralph Hix, Rae M. Hix, Richard E. Hix, Harold H. Hix, and Donald L. Hix; and one sister: Lucille A. (Hix) Tryon. Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am from St. Michael's Church, 529 St. Michael's Road, Hamburg, PA 19526. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp. A viewing will be held on Monday 7:00 to 9:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 233 Peach Street, Leesport and on Tuesday 10:00 to 11:00 am in the church.
