Pauline G. Krantz, 87, formerly of Temple, died Thursday, July 4, 2013 on arrival at the Reading Hospital. She was taken there from The Lutheran Home at Topton where she resided. She was the wife of Albert C. Krantz, died May 5, 2005. Born in Muhlenberg Twp., she was the daughter of the late Charles O. and Carrie M. (George) Fick. Pauline worked for Vanity Fair and Bachman's; and last worked as a banquet waitress. She was a member of the Ontelaunee Grange; Pikeville Sportman's Club; a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W.; and a 50-year member of AAA. Pauline enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Pauline is survived by one son: Dale E., husband of Mary Ellen (James) Krantz, Centre Twp., two grandchildren: Jennifer, wife of Drew Engelbert; and Jarad Krantz, fiancé of Jenna Burke; and two great-grandsons: Mason and Cody Krantz. She is also survived by nine brothers and sisters. Pauline was predeceased by a grandson: Jason A. Krantz, husband of Becky Krantz Klinger. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
