Pauline M. Bond, 97, formerly of Bern Twp., a resident at Maidencreek Place, passed away Monday, December 30, 2024 in Maidencreek Place. She was the wife of the late George A. Bond, died June 9, 1991.

Born in West Leesport, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Mamie (Wagner) Kauffman. She attended Ontelaunee Vocational School. Pauline worked as an assembler at the former Presto Lite Batters, from 1962 until retirement in 1980. She was a lifelong member of Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, Leesport. She enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her family, and cooking. She was the matriarch of her family.

She is survived by a daughter: Louise A. (Bond) Kispert, Washington state; three grandchildren: Deidre A. (Sychterz), wife of Joey Angstadt, Michael A. Sychterz, and Rose Oliver; and six great-grandchildren: Rye, Cole, Luke, Cassidy, Sean and Shane. She was predeceased by a daughter: Gloria J. (Bond) Michalowski, died May 5, 2011; four brothers: Clarence, Elmer, William, and Charles Kauffman; and four sisters: Mabel (Kauffman) Reiser, Stella (Kauffman) Strause, Annie (Kauffman) Hoffmaster, and Elsie (Kauffman) Stamm.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 6, 2025 at 11:30 am from Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, 102 Apple Street, Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 am in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to: Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, at the above address.
