Paul W. Shobe, 76, of Tilden Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. He was the

husband of Sue A. (Sterndale) Shobe. They were married in 1973.

Born in Elida, Ohio, he was the son of the late James H. and Virginia E. (Bentz) Shobe. Paul was a

U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He worked as a truck driver for Harris Pine Mill, the

Pennsylvania Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and Cardinal Trucking. Paul was a member of

Grace Outlet Seventh-day Adventist Church, Sinking Spring, where he was the head deacon and head of

the maintenance committee. Paul enjoyed playing solitaire on the computer and working with his hands.

He always had a project to work on. He also enjoyed joking with his grandchildren and being their "taxi".

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children: Amber L. (Shobe) Lenhardt, Denver, Colorado; and

Brandon J. Shobe, Bernville; husband of Meggan (Blackerby) and five grandchildren: Georgia, Aracely,

Jaliah, Grayson and Giannie. Paul is also survived by his siblings: James H. Shobe, Jr., husband of

Joyce; Melva Vaughn, wife of Teddy; and Naomi Degraw.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 12:00 noon from Grace Outlet Seventh-day Adventist Church, 150 Green Valley Road, Sinking Spring, PA 19608.
